Sunflower Harvest in Ukraine 2025: Assessments and Challenges

The 2025 sunflower harvest in Ukraine has been completed, but agricultural analysts are recording a decline in yields due to adverse weather conditions. According to various estimates, the total harvest may be significantly lower than in previous years, and some forecasts even indicate the lowest level in the last decade.

The main reasons for the decline in yields are dry weather and moisture deficit in key regions, which led to average indicators below potential. In some regions, yields are significantly lower than expected, which negatively affects the overall crop production.
