Ukraine: Trade relations between Ukraine and Iran improves

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Maxim Martynyuk discussed with the delegation from Iran the possibility of expanding trade relations. He said that Ukraine is interested in increasing export volumes to Iran.

According to the statement of Maxim Martynyuk, the Republic of Iran today is one of the main partners of Ukraine in the trade of agricultural products. It is Iran that occupying the 8th place among the importing countries of agricultural products.

The deputy minister also added that in addition to increasing the export volumes, it is also planned to expand the range of supplied goods. It is planned to export flour-milling products, cereals, various oilseeds, oil, etc. Today, the authorities only discuss the possibility of increasing export volumes, while the Iranian companies are already searching for partners in Ukraine to purchase agricultural products.

Moreover, the Ukrainian company took part in the exhibition IRAN EXPORT-2017, which had a positive result, as they managed to get Iranian partners interested in the delivery of flour.
