Ukraine: The State Land Cadastre started using the Blockchain technology

According to the information of the press center of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on June 21, 2017, the Ministry adopted a decree on implementation of the Blockchain system and as of the October 3 this technology is already in operation.

The implementation of such a system allows reliable synchronization of data, and also provides the highest level of information security.
The State Land Cadastre is a register that gives information about all land plots located on the territory of Ukraine. Public cadastral map is viewed more than 30 thousand times daily.

Director of the State Agency of Electronic Control Oleksandr Rizhenlo stated that the the Blockchain system is today an ideal tool that ensures transparency and, as a result, full confidence in this data.

In today’s legislative realities, this technology is the best example of cooperation between government, business and the public.

Earlier, representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy said that a bill is now being drafted, aimed at eliminating faults in the already existing procedures for state registration of property and exploitation of land.
