Ukraine: Exports of grain from Ukraine in the new season amounted to 372 thousand tons

As of July 10, 2020, the grain of the new season was exported from Ukraine in the amount of 372 thousand tons, which is almost half a million less than it was exported in the previous season.

The amount of exported wheat reached 18 thousand tons (76 thousand tons less than in the previous season), export of barley reached 75 thousand tons (14 thousand tons less than in the previous season), export of corn reached 277 thousand tons (394 thousand tons less than in the previous season) and it is still being exported. Rye has not yet been exported.

It should also be recalled that last year’s exports volumes reached a record 56.7 million tons. The beginning of the new season was marked by active export of grain from Ukraine. In just the first few weeks, more than 370,000 tons of grain were exported. This indicator demonstrates the rapid growth of export volumes and confirms the high potential of Ukrainian grain producers. Currently, Ukraine is one of the largest grain exporters in the world, and this status is being further strengthened. In addition, the demand for Ukrainian grain from foreign buyers is also growing, which confirms its high quality and competitiveness in the world market.
