Ukraine: Export volumes of sorghum and flour production

During the period from January to November of the current year, 144.200 t of sorghum were exported. The amount of exports was 20.990.000 dollars.

It should also be noted that in November of the current year, slightly more than 8.000 t of sorghum were exported.

During the period from January to November of the current year, the main buyers of sorghum were Spain (96.560 t were exported to this country and amounted to 14.050.000 dollars), Israel (12.130 t were exported to this country and amounted to 1.770.000 dollars) and Poland (9.110 t were exported to this country and amounted to 1.330.000 dollars).

During the period from January to November of the current year, 1.78 million tons of flour were produced, which is 1.1% lower than last year.

In November, 182.000 tons of flour were produced at flour mills, which exceeds the same figure for the past year by 1.7%, and also exceeds the production figures for October of the current year by 0.4%.

It should be recalled that during 2017/18 marketing year 214.500 tons of flour were exported from Ukraine, which exceeds the same figure of the previous year by 47.5 thousand tons.
