Oil seeds pressing
The main goal of introducing the pressing technology is to obtain the maximum amount of oil.
The most important unit of oil production technology are screw presses, which have different configurations for optimization for a particular technological process or a processed crop.
In addition to presses, the oil production lines are equipped with various additional equipment, which makes it possible to optimize the technology taking into account the customer’s wishes.
The use of different configurations and schemes of linking the machines gives a variety of ways for using these lines starting from the processing of a small number of seeds, if we are dealing with special or rare oilseeds, and ending with large oilseed enterprises, whose capacity can be 1.000 tons of seeds per day. There are two types of pressing process used: a single (single-stage) and two-step (two-stage) pressing.
Moreover, press technologies can also be different. It depends on the type of oilseed crop (sunflower, flax, soybean, etc.), pressing tasks (pre-pressing before extraction, etc.), oil quality and application. Here are the types of press technologies:
- cold pressing;
- hot pressing;
- cold-hot pressing;
- pressing with extrusion;
- forepressing before extraction.
All production lines are equipped with their own system for automatic control and visibility of the entire production cycle – Farmet Intelligence Control (FIC). A separate control algorithm is specially developed for each process, which allows to ensure the stability of the technological process, and also allows the operator to adjust the pressing parameters.
The main functions of the automatic control system FIC:
- control of the technological line;
- control over the state of the parameters of technology and equipment;
- collection and archiving of information about the line operation;
- protection of equipment against overload in the event of an accident;
- optimization of production processes;
- remote access to control with the ability to diagnose problems remotely.
