According to the data obtained, in February 1 million tons of grain were transported by rail, which is 1.7% more than during the same month last year.

The information was provided by a representative of the Kazakhstani railway.

The amount that was shipped for export reached 834 thousand tons of the total shipment volume, which exceeds the figure for the same month of the previous year by 8.2%. In addition, during the specified period, 218 thousand tons of grain milling products were transported by rail.

In total, during the specified period, 19 million tons of cargo were transported by rail, which is 1.5% more than last year.

In Kazakhstan, the volume of grain shipment by rail reached 1 million tons. This indicates an increase in the production and export of grain in the country. Grain is one of the main export commodities of Kazakhstan, and its yield has a significant impact on the country’s economy. However, in addition to export, grain is widely used domestically for the production of feed, flour, pasta and other products.

The railway is one of the main ways of delivering grain from the regions of Kazakhstan to ports for its further export. The increase in grain shipments by rail indicates an increase in grain production in the country and an increase in demand for it on the world market. This can lead to increased income for agricultural producers and an improvement in the economic situation in Kazakhstan.
